Robyn Rihanna - also known as Rihanna - is a Barbadian pop singer, songwriter and musician. She has had hits like Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. An extremely successful performer in the prime of her youthful years, she's already sold over 140 million records and 41 million songs around the world, making her one of the most successful artists ever. She was born in Barbados and grew up with reggae. When she began to sing, she turned into a professional singer. To escape the tensions within her family along with her parent's constant disputes, she started singing. When she was in high school, she started a group of musicians. She also was able to meet the music producer Evan Rodgers. He was amazed by her talents. His request was that she move in New York and pursue a professional singing career. Rihanna jumped at the chance to take it. Rihanna's debut album soon was a huge success and was described as the next big thing in music. Rihanna was loved by the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. This led to Rihanna becoming a director. Today, she's a teenager model and a model. Rihanna is also actively involved with charities and makes use of her popularity to help charities.
