Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and musician. She began by releasing humorous, cleverly written music that tackled issues like racial identification as well as sexual orientation. Then she expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop training began as she was just a teenager. While in college, she took classes in journalism and women's studies. In addition, she spent an hour studying Mandarin during her time in Beijing. The focus changed to music only after she graduated. Her 2012 track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet and was later released on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. This album also featured songs that were viral such as body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown New York Bitche$. The track that was second on the album linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was an additional project. After having a great career as a singer She took on the role of an actor. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors to Storks. The actress made headlines in 2018 with a few high profile films, including Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
